Liquorice root extract
Liquorice root extract has an anti-inflammatory effect because it inhibits an enzyme that supports the conversion of cortisol in the skin. As a result, anti-inflammatory hydrocortisone is deactivated more slowly, allowing it to last longer.
Betaglucan is a compound of several glucose molecules that occur, for example, in the cell walls of baker's yeast. Research into its efficacy has long shown that betaglucan boosts the immune system and improves wound healing, and that it can also be used to treat allergies, skin irritation and many other conditions. Betaglucan regulates the activity of macrophages, some of which lie beneath the epidermis. These produce collagen, shortening wound healing times and improving wound healing. In addition, they offer protection against external influences.
